Michael L. Johnson has dedicated his life to service, leadership, and advocating for the people and communities he represents. From serving his country to serving at the state level, his focus has always remained the same: showing up for people, listening to concerns, and working toward real solutions that improve everyday lives.

Now, Michael is running for Kansas City City Council, 3rd District In-District, to bring experienced, community-centered leadership directly to City Hall.

Raised on the values of hard work, accountability, and service, Michael understands the importance of strong neighborhoods, economic opportunity, safe communities, and accessible leadership. He believes residents deserve a representative who is visible, engaged, and committed to making sure District 3 has a strong voice in the decisions shaping Kansas City’s future.
